Saya termasuk pelanggan indihome juga, dan saya juga termasuk pelanggan lama, karena saya memanfaatkan koneksi fiber optik di rumah saya. Namun lambat laun banyak sekali kendala kendala yang terjadi pada indohome ini, mulai dari tarif yang tidak sama antar pelanggan lain dan sekarang ini yang paling ramai dibicarakan adalah masalah pembatasan kuota. pembatasan kuota inilah yang menyebabkan masyarakat resah termasuk saya ini. Karena dalam penyebaran iklan dulu menggunakan unlimited atau tanpa batas. Yahhh begitulah iklan hehe. Ternyata FUP ini tidak disukai banyak orang, termasuk saya hehe..Apa sih FUP itu? bagi yang belum tahu maka akan saya bahas disini.
Pengertian Fair Usage Policy FUP Indihome
Indihome menerapkan sistem FUP juga mempunyai alasan tersendiri, tidak semata mata ingin menghancurkan pelanggan. Alasannya sebenarnya masuk akal juga, Penerapan Fair Usage Policy (FUP) kepada pelanggan Indihome semata-mata dilakukan untuk menjaga kualitas layanan dan memberikan kenyamanan kepada pelanggan. Namun ternyata malah kebalikannya, masyarakat merasa dirugikan. Hmmmm gak enak juga kalau begitu ya.
FUP ini hanya diberlakukan untuk layanan internet pada IndiHome dan tidak berpengaruh pada layanan video (UseeTV) dan telepon. Jadi anda tetap bisa menonton tv dan menggunakan telpun sesuai keinginan anda. Namun hal ini tidak membuat masyarakat lega, karena sekarang ini tanpa internet terasa bukan hidup hehe.
Cara Kerja Sistem FUP
Indihome Telkom membagi paket FUP mulai 10 Mbps hingga 100 Mbps. Simulasinya. Jika pengguna IndiHome dengan paket 10 Mbps maka kecepatannya hanya terbagi beberapa golongan. (kaya kaum muslimin dan muslimat aja aja hehe). Nah sistem berlakunya FUP ini ada prosesnya jadi tidak asal menurunkan kecepatan saja. FUP akan berlaku jika pengguna telah melewati batas kuota 300 GB per bulan. Jika batas itu dilewati, maka kecepatan akan diturunkan. Ini berlaku untuk pelanggan kecepatan 10 Mbps ke atas.
